DOTHAN, AL - Civil rights activist Al Sharpton's half-brother was arrested and charged with capital murder after a Sunday night shooting.

Kenneth Glasgow, 52, was arrested along with Jamie Towns. Both were charged with capital murder for the killing of 23-year-old Breunia Jennings.
Details are sketchy, but it appears police believe Towns shot Jennings in he head after Jennings stole his car. Instead of calling police, Glasgow and Towns allegedly went looking for the car.
It appears Glasgow was charged under the theory of accomplice liability, but it's not clear that Glasgow knew Towns was going to shoot and kill Jennings. The charge is capital murder because shooting into a vehicle and killing someone is a capital offense in Alabama. A capital murder charge means Glasgow could be given the death penalty if convicted.
